EGR Off Software

DaVinci Ghost is the Windows desktop ECU software from DaVinci Deluxe for working on the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) function in a car, van or truck ECU file. Open the file, let the analysis identify the control unit and confirm the EGR solution is available for that software, then apply it on the bench. No token is charged if the file cannot be tuned.

What EGR off does in the file

The EGR strategy recirculates part of the exhaust back into the intake. The EGR switch in DaVinci Ghost turns off the software side of that strategy in the ECU map so the unit stops commanding EGR flow. It is a software operation on a bench file for off-road, testing and educational use only.

Works alongside the other switches

EGR is one of the twenty switches in the panel. On a file that supports several, you can enable EGR together with DPF, flaps, lambda and more and re-tune the same file for free after the first token.

Three steps, one token

  1. Open your ECU file in DaVinci Ghost. The analysis identifies the control unit and shows every solution available for that exact software.
  2. Apply the EGR switch (and any other available switch). Enable CHK/CVN so the checksum and CVN are corrected on save.
  3. Save the file to your PC. If the file was not tunable, no token was charged.

Questions about EGR off

Which ECUs support EGR off?

Most Bosch EDC/MED, Siemens/Continental SID, Delphi DCM, Denso, Marelli and heavy-duty units on many software versions. The analysis in the app confirms whether EGR applies to your exact file; the Supported ECUs page lists the live coverage.

Is EGR off available on petrol ECUs too?

EGR handling appears mainly on diesel units, but the analysis will show every switch that applies to the file you opened, petrol or diesel.

Do I pay per switch?

No. One token covers the whole file. EGR and any other available solution on that file are included, checksum too.
