Lambda / O2 Off Software

DaVinci Ghost is the Windows desktop ECU software from DaVinci Deluxe for working on the Lambda / oxygen (O2) sensor strategy in a car, van or truck ECU file. Open the file, let the analysis identify the control unit and confirm the Lambda solution is available, then apply it on the bench. If the file is not tunable, no token is charged.

What Lambda / O2 off does in the file

The Lambda strategy uses the oxygen sensors to trim fuelling and monitor the catalyst. The LAMBDA switch turns off the software side of that strategy in the ECU map. It is a bench software operation for off-road, testing and educational use only.

Checksum handled on save

Enable CHK/CVN and the file is written back with a corrected checksum and CVN, included in the same token.

Three steps, one token

  1. Open your ECU file in DaVinci Ghost. The analysis identifies the control unit and shows every solution available for that exact software.
  2. Apply the LAMBDA switch (and any other available switch). Enable CHK/CVN so the checksum and CVN are corrected on save.
  3. Save the file to your PC. If the file was not tunable, no token was charged.

Questions about Lambda / O2 off

Which ECUs support Lambda off?

Most Bosch MED/MED17 and ME petrol units, plus many diesel units, on many software versions. Open your file and the analysis confirms whether Lambda applies to that build; the Supported ECUs page has the live list.

Is it petrol or diesel?

Lambda handling is most common on petrol ECUs, but the analysis shows every switch that applies to the file you opened.

How is it billed?

One token per tunable file. Lambda and every other available switch on that file are included, checksum too.
