NOx Off Software

DaVinci Ghost is the Windows desktop ECU software from DaVinci Deluxe for working on the NOx sensor strategy in a diesel car, van or heavy-duty truck ECU file. Open the file, the analysis identifies the unit and shows whether the NOx solution is available, and you apply it on the bench. Nothing is charged for a file that is not tunable.

What NOx off does in the file

The NOx strategy reads the NOx sensors that support the SCR/AdBlue system. The NOX switch turns off the software side of that strategy in the ECU map. It is a bench software operation for off-road, testing and educational use only.

Works next to AdBlue / SCR

NOX sits beside ADBLUE in the twenty-switch panel; on a file that needs both they are applied together and covered by the same token, with the checksum corrected on save.

Three steps, one token

  1. Open your ECU file in DaVinci Ghost. The analysis identifies the control unit and shows every solution available for that exact software.
  2. Apply the NOX switch (and any other available switch). Enable CHK/CVN so the checksum and CVN are corrected on save.
  3. Save the file to your PC. If the file was not tunable, no token was charged.

Questions about NOx off

Which trucks and ECUs are supported?

Heavy-duty units such as Bosch EDC7, EDC17CV, MD1CE and Cummins, plus van and passenger diesels, on many software versions. The analysis confirms NOx availability for your exact file; see the Supported ECUs page.

Is NOx off the same as AdBlue off?

They are related but separate switches. See the AdBlue / SCR off page; on many files you enable both.

How is it billed?

One token per tunable file, everything applicable to that file included.
