Speed Limiter (VMAX) Off Software
DaVinci Ghost is the Windows desktop ECU software from DaVinci Deluxe for working on the top-speed limiter (VMAX) in a car, van or truck ECU file. Open the file, the analysis identifies the unit and shows whether the VMAX solution is available, and you apply it on the bench. For off-road, testing and educational use only.
What VMAX off does in the file
The VMAX strategy caps the vehicle's top speed in the ECU map. The VMAX switch turns off the software side of that limiter. It is a bench software operation for off-road, testing and educational use only.
One token, checksum included
VMAX is one of the twenty switches; enable it with any other available switch, correct the checksum on save, all in the same token.
Three steps, one token
- Open your ECU file in DaVinci Ghost. The analysis identifies the control unit and shows every solution available for that exact software.
- Apply the VMAX switch (and any other available switch). Enable CHK/CVN so the checksum and CVN are corrected on save.
- Save the file to your PC. If the file was not tunable, no token was charged.
